About Mark Magsayo
Jessel Mark “Magnifico” Magsayo (born June 22, 1995 in Tagbilaran City, Bohol) is a Filipino professional boxer who held the WBC featherweight title in 2022. A standout amateur with over 200 bouts and four national titles, he turned pro in 2013 and quickly rose through the ranks, winning the IBF and WBO Youth featherweight belts before capturing the WBC crown by defeating Gary Russell Jr. Magsayo is known for his explosive power—his knockout of Julio Ceja in 2021 was named PBC Knockout of the Year. Transitioning to super featherweight, he claimed the WBA Inter-Continental title in 2024 and the WBC Continental Americas title in 2025, later signing with Zuffa Boxing in 2026. His professional record stands at 31 fights, 29 wins (19 by KO), and 2 losses.
