News coverage on the death of 24-year-old Filipino boxer Lito Sisnorio who died less than 24 hours after being knocked-out in a fight against former world champion Chatchai Sasakul in Thailand on March 30, 2007.
Sisnorio's death resulted in an investigation conducted by the Philippines' Games and Amusements Board (GAB) with the aid of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to the unscrupulous matchmaking that happened between Thai boxers and overmatched Filipino journeymen.
The aftermath of Sisnorio's death also resulted in the tempory banning of fights in Thailand involving Filipino boxers.
