The iconic and legendary Luna Park from Buenos Aires, Argentina could have professional boxing back in the near future, although for now it has been confirmed that it will open its doors for training.
According to Natalia Rivero, daughter of the renowned Promoter Osvaldo Rivero and current manager of the OR Promotions company, expressed in the media that she hopes to hold a boxing event "at the beginning of 2021".
It was on October 12, 2014 when, for the last time, a boxing event was held in that historic place considered the best in that country and one of the icons of sport and entertainment in the world.
Luna Park had the legendary Tito Lectoure as its best boxing ally, who stopped holding events in 1989.
