This Saturday in Ekaterinburg, Russia at an event organized by RCC Boxing Promotions with few fans due to coronavirus restrictions, only 250 fans were allowed in the RCC Boxing Academy Hall.
In the main fight of the night, Russian boxers Nikita Kuznetsov (11-2-2, 5KOs) and Ruslan Kamilov (9-0-1, 4KOs) met for the WBO Intercontinental Super featherweight Championship.
In an intense and difficult fight with constant exchanges and a constant battle for the center of the ring where there were no pauses during the fight although Kamilov looked better in most of the rounds and took the victory. The judges' scores were: 99-91, 98-92, and 99-91 unanimous decision for Kamilov.
In the co-main event, Rusian 2016 Olympic Games bronze medalist Vladimir Nikitin (4-1, 1KOs) defeated experienced Ukrainian Alexander Yegorov (20-4-1, 10KOs) by unanimous decision in eight rounds.
Another Olympic Games participant, Fazliddin Gaibnazarov (9-1, 5KOs), the gold medal winner in the Uzbekistan national team, beat Armenian Manuk Dilanyan (11-5-1, 4KOs) by unanimous decision in eight rounds.
Rusian Evgeny Chuprakov (23-3, 12KOs) defeated Sardor Muzaffarov (4-4, 2KOs) of Uzbekistan by unanimous decision.
