WBA super featherweight and lightweight champion Gervonta "Tank" Davis has been indicted on 14 counts in Baltimore Circuit Court related to a hit-and-run incident on November 5. He faces up to a year in prison on some of the most serious charges according to the Baltimore Sun.

Davis, who was driving a $200,000 Lamborghini, ran a red light and collided with another vehicle, injuring its occupants. Davis and a colleague allegedly fled the scene in a black Camaro that came to pick them up.

On that occasion according to WJZ, the local CBS affiliate, at 1:53 a.m. that morning, a vehicle ran a red light and collided with another vehicle, then left the scene. According to the station, a source named Davis as the driver who ran the red light.

Davis, 26, last fought in November, 2020, knocking out Leo Santa Cruz in their WBA world superfeather and lightweight championships.
