Russian former champion Denis Lebedev, 42, has expressed the possibility of returning to boxing, even considering former Panamanian world champion Guillermo Jones as an opponent.
Lebedev made his last fight in December 2019 against South African Thabiso Mchunu for the WBC cruiserweight world title.
Lebedev, who turned 42 in August, lost to Jones in 2013, but the Panamanian tested positive and the fight was rescinded. Jones (49 years old) failed doping before the second fight, which ultimately did not take place.
Lebedev began his career in 2001 and went on to win the WBA and WBO cruiserweight world championships.
