It has been learned that former world champion Errol Spence Jr. has activated his rematch clause to fight Terence Crawford in a not-so-expected move that will keep occupied Crawford at least for the rest of the year.
There is still no information on dates and venue for Crawford vs Spence II but the possibilities are before the end of the year or in the first quarter of 2024.
Crawford was looking for a possible bout against the winner of Canelo Álvarez vs. Jermell Charlo but has to postpone his aspirations when it appears that Spence has exercised his rematch clause.
