Basketball superstar LeBron James and his son Bronny made NBA history early Sunday morning, March 29, in the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Brooklyn Nets. The rookie, wearing number 9, dunked a three-pointer, a basket considered the first-ever assist by a father in NBA history.
The shot came in the second quarter, when the Nets were leading 44-39. The game ended with a 116-99 victory for the Lakers.
LeBron finished the game with 14 points. Bronny, who played four minutes, contributed the three points and the unprecedented assist.
Currently 21 years old, Bronny James is LeBron's eldest son. He was drafted by the Lakers on June 27, 2024 as the number 55 pick and his star happened on October 22, 2024, in a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, when he became the first NBA player to play alongside his father.
