LOUIE Germo and Analyn Turno topped the 34th Yakult 10-Miler Trilogy Davao held today July 12 ππ the πππ―ππ¨ ππ₯π¨πππ₯ ππ¨π°π§π¬π‘π’π© in Matina, Davao City.
Germo clocked one hour, five minutes, 25 seconds to rule the menβs division in the 16-kilometer.
Second was Marlon James Alberto [1:07:25] followed by Jem Boiser [1:10:55].
Germo was supposed to finish only second behind Rico Bansilan [1:03:43].
βBut it was found out that Bansilan had used another name,β said race director Kenneth Sai of KinetixSports.
Turno, on the other hand, had a time of 1:22:26 to win the distaff side.
βThe route was very challengingβit's still coastal, the wind is very strong, and there are still a lot of climbs. Every kilometer tested my endurance, but through the Lord, I was able to do it,β said Turno.
Easther Familar [1:25:01] and Jade Cuna [1:25:58] were second and third, respectively.
Eight others were also disqualified for the same offense.
The event was organized by Hyve Sports in coordination with KinetixSports.
