Two Argentinians--Sergio Carlos Santillan and Luis Alberto Lazarte--are on the running to be Gerry Penalosa's December 10 opponent, revealed a source close to Penalosa's camp.
Santillan is 20-5-3, 7 KO's while former WBO and WBC flyweight challenger Lazarte is 27-7-1, 12 KO's.
"The final decision will be made soon," said the Philboxing source.
Penalosa will return to the ring on December 10 after a year of layoff following his victory of the fringe World Boxing Foundation superfly title.
Venue for the fight will be the Casino Filipino Amphitheater in Paranaque City.
