Moments ago, the official weigh-in for tomorrow`s WBO twinbill took place in Tagbilaran City, Bohol.
According to ALA chief trainer Edito `Ala` Villamor, WBO Asia Pacific bantam champ Rey `Boom Boom` Bautista came in at a trim 117 lbs, while his opponent, Tanzania`s Obote Ameme barely met the regulatory 118-lb limit.
Ameme had to do extra workouts to shed off a 1-pound excess, and finally hit the 118-lb mark on his next attempt at the scales.
WBO Asia Pacific junior lightweight champ Victor Mausol of Indonesia weighed in at 128.5 lbs, while challenger Czar Amonsot of Cebu came in at 129 lbs.
Supervising the weigh-in was WBO Asia Pacific co-chairman Leon Panoncillo and GAB`s Rolando Mendoza.
Also at the weigh-in to provide early fireworks were popular members of the Viva Hot Babes Gwen Garci and Zara Lopez.
Tomorrow`s mega-card is supported by Tanduay, the no. 1 Rhum and PLDT.
Main Event will air the fights on Sunday, 1PM over at RPN-9.
