Legendary Mexican Julio C?sar Ch?vez Sr, has advised his son Julio Jr to dedicate himself 110 percent if he wants to return to the elite of his profession.
The WBC said Chavez Sr noted that his son has a lot of things to improve on for his upcoming fights after Chavez Jr. had a hugely controversial win this past weekend over Bryan Vera in a fight that most media and fans believed Vera deserved to win.
The WBC website quoted Chavez Sr who said ?We have to improve many things. Things that are not ok,? Chavez Sr. I wanted that fight concluded, to have complete control of my son. He must see boxing from another point of view, if not he will not develop.?
Chavez Sr. said he was pleased by the way Julio threw punches and adeptly countered, but he should have thrown more punches, even though his right hand had been injured during the fight.
The WBC reported that Chavez Jr. might fight for the WBC super middleweight title that currently belongs to Salio Bika or have a second bout against Marco Antonio Rubio for the middleweight interim title.
