The weekly TV boxing show ?The Main Event? telecast on Viva Television?s ?Pinoy Box Office? or PBO on cable, will have a short feature on the award for the ?Comeback Fighter of the Year, eight division world champion and ?Fighter of the Decade? Manny Pacquiao.
The award was made by the popular radio show host Jenna Jay in the program ?On The Ropes.?
?The Main Event? is telecast on Saturdays at 8:30 p.m. with a replay at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays.
Also on this week?s program will be a report on the January 25 IBF flyweight title eliminator between Oriental Pacific Boxing Federation champion Rocky ?The Road Warrior? Fuentes and Puerto Rico?s McWilliams Arroyo who has an impressive record of 10 knockouts in 12 wins with only one loss.
The show will include the only defeat suffered by Arroyo against Japan?s Takashi Okuda as well as highlights of Fuentes winning the OPBF title against Masafumi Okubo of Japan which he has successfully defended six times.
In a survey late last year after a special pre-fight feature on Pacquiao-Juan Manuel Marquez IV and ?Remembering the Thrilla in Manila?, the program rated No.1 with a remarkable audience share of 78 percent.
