A former regular sparring partner of eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao predicts his multi-milliin dollar fight against undefeated pound for pound No. 1 Floyd Mayweather Jr will be a very interesting fight.
The two top welterweights in the world clash at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 2 in a fight to be telecast by Solar Sports in the Philippines over three of the country?s leading networks ? ABS-CBN, GMA 7 and TV 5.
Rodela told Fight Hype ?I think it's going to be a very interesting fight. I hope Manny wins. I hope he knocks him (Mayweather) out.?
But the lanky Rodela said I know it's going to be tough. I honestly think a draw is the best.?
The former super featherweight and lightweight contender recalled what it was like to spar with Pacquiao. He branded it ?a good experience. He?s very difficult. He throws like 6, 7, 8 punches and his angles are insane.?
Rodela added, ?it feels like I?m in there with two Mannys.?
He has a record of 17-10-3 with 7 knockouts.
Not known as a big puncher, Rodela was game, had good hand-speed and moved well.
