In text message from Jakarta, PhilBoxing.com's Salven Lagumbay reported that Florante Condes of the Philippines won by split decision over Muhammad Rachman of Indonesia. Rachman was down twice in the 12-round IBF minimumweight championship. Condes thus become the first legitimate Filipino titleholder since Manny Pacquiao won the IBF super bantamweight crown against Ledwaba in 2001.
