Despite the Games & Amusements Board announced decision to allow Filipino boxers to fight in Thailand only on a case-to-case basis and to ensure that there are no mismatches two more Filipino fighters have been beaten in Bangkok.

Carlo Besares was knocked out in the second round of a scheduled six round bout against Noknoi Sitthiprasert while Dennis Juntillano dropped a ten round unanimous decision to Wanheng Menayothin in a WBC Youth minimum weight title fight.

Besares had a record of 5-10 with 2 knockouts according to boxrec.com while Noknoi had a record of 12-4 with 9 knockouts. Besares was coming off a first round KO at the hands of Denver Cuello while in his last fight Noknoi scored a fourth round TKO win over China’s Liu Yong Jun. The Thai fighter is the reigning WBC Youth flyweight champion and has successfully defended his title five times.

Juntillano, on the other hand had a record of 7-5 with 3 knockouts while Wanheng was undefeated with 3 wins, one of them by knockout. Juntillano won his last fight via a first round KO over Nelson Guindolan on June 30 but before that lost back-to-back fights by KO and TKO to Alex Aroy and Rollen del Castilo. Wanheng last fought n March 30 and won by a first round TKO over China’s Ma Wi Ming.
