SANTA MONICA, CALIF. (August 21, 2026) — Fighters faced off for the final time today at official weigh-ins ahead of tomorrow night's Butterfly Brawl, returning to the Santa Monica Pier on Saturday, August 22. Presented by Fightbook in partnership with Bash Boxing, the event continues the tradition first launched as the Butterfly Ball in 2017 and benefits Teen Cancer America.
The card spans weight classes from flyweight to super middleweight, featuring fighters from the United States, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Ireland, Denmark and India, including Jalan Walker (16-1-1, 11 KOs) against Alexander Espinoza (24-9-3, 8 KOs), and Andy Dominguez Velasquez (13-1, 6 KOs) against Neider Valdez Aguilar (15-4-3, 12 KOs), both scheduled for 10 rounds.
The card streams live on Bash TV (watchbashtv.com), with additional pay-per-view platforms to be announced. Fight night entertainment includes performances from Mixmaster Mike of the Beastie Boys, Stefano, Mellow Man Ace and A Lighter Shade of Brown, with three-division undisputed champion Terence "Bud" Crawford on hand to support the event.
