Romero Duno of the Sanman Gym weighed 134 lbs and Mexican opponent Juan Pablo Sanchez stepped on the scales at 133.6lbs during the official weigh-in for their fight set for Sunday (Philippine Time).

Sanman CEO JC Manangquil informed philboxing of the weights.

Duno (14W-1L,13KO?s) will fight Sanchez (30W-13L,14KO?s) on the undercard of the WBA world lightweight title fight between Jorge Linares and Luke Campbell at the Forum in Inglewood, California.

Sanchez is a former WBC Mundo Hispano lightweight titlist. Duno, who holds the WBC Youth Intercontinental title.

Duno created shock waves last March in Los Angeles when he stopped erstwhile undefeated Golden Boy prospect Christian Gonzalez in two rounds. This led to Golden Boy Promotions signing Duno to a contract.

Also in the U.S. to support Duno is Sanman CFO Dexter Tan. Duno has been training in the U.S. with former WBC light flyweight champ Rodel Mayol of Cebu.
