Los Angeles, CA -- Word has reached this writer that Ana Julaton?s pro debut scheduled at the Morongo Casino Resort in Cabazon, California tomorrow, November 2, 2007 is on as previously reported.

However, Julaton will have a new opponent. Her name is Rita Valentini of Los Angeles, a woman-boxer that parades a 6-5-0 record.

Valentini is a ?short notice? substitute for Hondi Hernandez of Arizona. Hernandez is the same fighter that Julaton was supposed to have fought during the Pacquiao-Barrera II, but she did not make weight and the bout was scrapped.

Earlier today, Eric Gomez was informed by Team Hernandez that she ?hurt her hand? and will not be able to make the fight tomorrow.

When informed of the situation, Team Julaton responded with a lot of skepticism.

No one believed that Hernandez ?hurt her hand?. Most know that Hernandez could not make weight again, thus they found reasons to not be involved tomorrow.

Eric Gomez upon assessing the situation put a call to Valentini?s handlers. True to form, Team Valentini accepted the fight.

Thus, the long awaited pro debut of the ?Hurricane? from Northern California will finally happen.
