WBA world welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao starts first day of sparring Tuesday, Dec. 4, in his hometown in General Santos City, Southern Philippines as he upped his load in his preparation for his upcoming fight against challenger Adrien Broner of the United States scheduled on Jan. 19 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Pacquiao, the only eight-division world champion in the history of the sport, and Broner, himself a four-division world champion will usher in the new year's first big fight coming in the heels of the highly acclaimed epic battle between WBC world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder of the United States and heavyweight lineal world champion Tyson Fury of Great Britain last Saturday, Dec. 1 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Kambosos, a Greek-Australian was also Pacquiao's sparring partner in his last fight when he knocked out then world champion Lucas Matthysse of Argentina last July 15 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
