If people are wondering how plans for the Manny Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather Jr. sequel are coming along, they should ask the man handling both boxers.

?The key is Al Haymon. Pacquiao joined Haymon?s stable because he is confident Haymon will deliver Mayweather. Haymon is the key,? boxing analyst Ed Tolentino said in an interview Tuesday.

The reclusive Haymon currently manages top-flight fighters, including Mayweather, Adrien Broner and Kieth Thurman, all of whom belong to the welterweight division.

Pacquiao dominated Adrien Broner last month with hopes of fanning interest for another lucrative match against Mayweather.

?The first fight grossed close to $600 million in revenue. If the rematch makes even half of that, it is still a lot of money,? Tolentino said.

?Also, Pacquiao?s fight with Broner drew an impressive 400,000 pay per view buys, so Manny still commands a following.?

Haymon is known for keeping himself out of the public eye, preferring to work behind the scenes in contrast with larger than life boxing promoters Bob Arum and Don King.

But through his outfit, Premiere Boxing Champions, he was able to orchestrate some of the biggest fights involving Mayweather.

So secretive was Haymon that Arum called him ?fictional.?

?I don?t believe there?s an Al Haymon. I haven?t seen him in three years. Have you seen him? Is there an Al Haymon?? Arum, Pacquiao?s former promoter, said in an article on the Boxing Scene website.
