Russian prospect Evgeny "Siberian Express" Shvedenko, 30, (13-0, 6KOs) and Artur "Black Lightning" Osipov (16-2-1, 11KOs), 31, from Michurinsk will meet on December 21 for the vacant title. Shvedenko has won the WBO and EBP Continental titles and in his last and only fight of 2020 he beat Maksim Smirnov on points in Russia. Shvedenko has resided and trains in Germany where he has fought the most.
