Former world rated and Australian champion boxer Joel Camilleri had a huge win over former IBF world middleweight champion Sam “King” Soliman last Friday night in Melbourne by first round TKO at 1 minutes in 10 seconds.
Sam Soliman has fought Winky Wright and Felix Sturn and Jermain Taylor many big names in his long career.
Joel Camilleri lost to Tim Tszyu in 2019 by decision but Camilleri's win over Sam Soliman was the best of his career.
“This puts Joel back on the international map. Camilleri also fought two times in Thailand this year and he would like to have the opportunity to fight on TV show blow by blow promoted by Gerry Penalosa and Manny Pacquiao and we can fight anyone at welterweight and Joel can go as high as middlewight,“ said Australian Hall of Fame Manager Promoter Peter Maniatis.
