Ten years after Mayweather-Pacquiao in May 2015, rumors of a possible rematch have begun to surface after it was learned that Mayweather will be present at Pacquiao's comeback fight against Mexican WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Saturday, July 19.
Unofficially, there have been reports of possible talks exploring the possibility of a Pacquiao-Mayweather rematch, which could depend on Pacquiao winning against Barrios.
Pacquiao has even publicly stated that he would consider a rematch if Mayweather is truly interested.
Mayweather retired from boxing in 2017 with a perfect 50-0 record (KOs) and defeated Pacquiao in May 2015 by unanimous decision in a mega-event considered the highest-grossing event in the world, with a record 4.6 million pay-per-view buys and over $410 million in revenue.
