Jake Pollard.
Jake Pollard, a 33-year-old boxer and horse farrier, suffered his 100th career defeat—and his fourth loss in October—when he was stopped by Hasan Ishak (3-0) via a second-round technical knockout on the Joseph Parker vs. Fabio Wardley undercard at the O2 Arena Saturday, Oct. 25.
Born in Bradford, Yorkshire, England, Pollard made his professional debut in October 2018 and now holds a record of 1-100. His lone victory came in 2023 in his 50th fight. Remarkably, despite his century of losses, only six have come inside the distance. He has competed across the bantamweight and featherweight divisions.
In his latest outing, Pollard was dropped in the second round after Ishak slipped an uppercut through his guard, sending him to his knees as referee Mark Bates stepped in and waved off the bout.
A true journeyman of British boxing, Pollard has already fought 17 times this year—and incredibly, still has three more bouts scheduled in the coming weeks.
