The NBA has reportedly hired an independent law firm to investigate the allegations, which are now public knowledge, and has requested documents and records from various individuals and organizations.
What is known is that the Los Angeles Lakers are among the teams from whom information has been requested, including assistant coach Mike Mancias and executive manager Randy Mims.
