The ever-reliable New York Knicks defeated the Brooklyn Nets 120-66 on Wednesday, the largest margin of victory in franchise history, surpassing the previous record of 48 points.
Jalen Brunson scored 20 points, and Landry Shamet went 6-for-6 from three-point range with 18 points for the Knicks.
The Knicks had lost nine of their last 11 games, and against the Nets, the New York Knicks won their thirteenth consecutive home game against the Nets.
The Nets won nine straight games against the Knicks during the Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving era, with their last victory coming on January 28, 2023.
Previously, a 134-98 Knicks victory over the Nets on November 9 of last year held the record for the largest margin of victory between the two teams.
