Former Mexican world champion Julio César Chávez Jr. returns to the ring on April 25 at the Adolfo López Mateos Park baseball stadium in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, following his successful fight against Argentinian Ángel Sacco last January in San Luis Potosí. At 40 years old, he continues his quest for a world championship opportunity.
On the same night, dubbed "The Legacy Continues," his brother Omar Chávez will also be in the ring, along with Roberto Chávez Jr., "Mini JC."
An announcement regarding the opponents the Chávez brothers will face is expected soon.
The boxing event will be broadcast on Box Azteca, and ESPN Knockout is also exploring the possibility of airing it.
