Filipino Alexander Piñero Dave is set to compete in the Invitational Battle Jawara Billiard to be held on September 12-14, 2026 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The 41- year old billiard player from Lipa City, Batangas visits GAB Chairman Atty. Francisco J. Rivera on Monday at the Games and Amusement Board head office in Makati City.
" I would like to thank GAB Chairman Atty. Francisco J. Rivera for supporting my billiard campaign in Jakarta, Indonesia," said Dave, nicknamed Butay in pool world.
" I hope to perform well," added Dave, a habitue of Hustler’s Billiard Lounge in Batangas City.
A total RP (Rupiah) 215.000.000 up for grabs in this 9-ball competition with the champion getting the lion share of RP 80.000.000, the second place will earn RP 35.000.000 while the semi finalists will receive RP 12.000.000 each.
Also joining International Billiard players AJ Manas , Jundel Mazon and up and coming Wendell Esguerra Manongsong.-Marlon Bernardino-
