Julio Cesar and Omar Chavez to return on September 12 in Puebla, Mexico

Former Mexican world champion Julio César Chávez Jr. and his brother Omar will finally return to the ring on September 12 at the Miguel Hidalgo Gymnasium in Puebla, in an event that aims to raise funds for an addiction rehabilitation center announced by the governor of Puebla, Alejandro Armenta Mier.

Julio César Chávez Jr. (56-7-1, 36KOs), 40, will face Colombian Jeison Troncoso (14-3, 10KOs), 31 years old, while Omar Chávez (42-9-1, 29KOs), 36 years old, will face an opponent yet to be announced.

The event also includes a bout between Alexis “Chapito” Molina (14-1-2, 6KOs), 26 age, and former WBC world champion Alexandro “Peque” Santiago (30-6-5, 16KOs), 30.age.
