Philippine no. 2 lightweight Dexter 'Dinamita' Delada of the Wakee Salud Stable will fly to South Africa as he vies for the vacant WBC International lightweight title on May 27 against heavy-punching Ali Funeka in East London, South Africa.

This was confirmed by Delada's manager Rex "Wakee" Salud, who revealed that Delada has been chosen to vie for the title owing to his good fight record.

The Camiguin-born Delada (14-2, 10 KO's) had vied for the Philippine lightweight title, but was stopped by RP champ Fernando Montilla last November 5 on a fouth-round knockout where both fighters kissed the canvas.

Funeka, a right-handed banger ranked WBC no. 20, is an outstanding puncher with only one loss in his 27-fight pro resume.
