Dodie Boy Pe?alosa Jr. aims to extend his knockout streak when he fights Indonesian Alex Buckie at the Mandaue City Sports Complex. Buckie (13W-25L-6D, 7 KO?s) fought for the Pan Asian Boxing Association (PABA) bantamweight title in his last fight but lost a unanimous decision to Tabtimdaeng Na Rachawat of Thailand by unanimous decision.
Pe?alosa (8W-0L, 8 KO?s) stopped Thailander Superjames Singmanasak in a single round in his last fight in Caloocan City. Buckie will be the third foreign opponent for Pe?alosa.
The other Pe?alosa scion, Dave, will have his third professional bout against JR Salvador. Dave also fought in Caloocan and scored a second round TKO win over Rey Colambot.
Also set to see action is Philippine featherweight champion Michael Fare?as, who will face battle-tested Jayson Egera of Siaton in a non-title bout.
