Just seconds ago, Thailand's Wandee Singwangcha prevailed on a unanimous decision over Filipino Juanito Rubillar to claim the World Boxing Council junior flyweight interim title in their 12-round battle at the Mall Shopping Center in Bangkapi, Bangkok, Thailand.
It was a highly competitive fight.
With the win, Singwangcha gains the right to challenge WBC 108-lb kingpin Brian Viloria next, assuming the latter retains his title on Aug. 10 against his Mexican challenger Omar Nino Romero.
