BAUTISTA'S NEW OPPONENT HAS VISA PROBLEMS

The latest opponent of emerging ring sensation Rey "Boom Boom" Bautista, Brazilian super bantamweight champion Giovanni Andrade is having problems getting a US visa just like his previously scheduled opponent Moises Gutierrez, the super bantamweight champion of Chile.

Andrade was scheduled to clash with Derrick "Smoke" Gainer on Saturday in a Fight Night card at the Paragon Casino in Marksville, Louisiana but according to Fight News, Andrade had trouble obtaining his visa and Gainer will now face Phillip Payne for the IBA Americas lightweight title.

There were also concerns about the 36 year old veteran Andrade fighting Gainer as a lightweight this Saturday and then having to move down to super bantamweight to fight the 20 year old Bautista on September 16 .

Bautista who is undefeated in 20 fights with 15 knockouts was scheduled to leave for the US along with outstanding Filipino trainer Edito "Ala" Villamor today to resume training at the Wild Card Gym of celebrated trainer Freddie Roach.
