Mexican legend Marco Antonio Barrera expects WBO light flyweight interim champion Moises Fuentes to win the title in his rematch against long-reigning champion Donnie Nietes when they clash on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena along Manila Bay.

Barrera said the first encounter in which Nietes retained his title via a majority decision was ?a tough fight? but that this time around Fuentes ?trained harder and better and concentrated on his preparation in his gym in Mexico City.

He said Fuentes ?did high altitude training and will step into the ring more comfortable and confident.?

The popular Barrera who is a regular commentator on Mexican television for all the big fights in the US and Mexico said that based on what he has seen, Fuentes is one hundred percent better than the first fight against Nietes.?

He said they studied the video of the first fight and ?put in more work? even as he conceded that they were ?surprised that Nietes was very strong? in their first fight and added ?we will make it different this time.?

Barrera described the 26 year old Fuentes as ?a very good fighter and he likes to win. He comes in (to this fight) hungry.?

Barrera spoke to the Manila Standard at a public workout at the Annex of SM North Edsa before an enthusiastic crowd that applauded the Mexicans, posed for pictures and enjoyed the brief shadow boxing by Fuentes, Martin Tecuapetla who takes on former WBO/WBA flyweight title challenger Milan Melindo and Sergio Villanueva who battles featherweight Rey ?Boom Boom? Bautista who is making a comeback after his split decision loss to Jose Ramirez on April 20, 2013.

Barrera described Tecuapetla as ?a very good fighter who keeps working and wants to pull a surprise. He is very aggressive, pressures his opponent all the time and throws punches. He likes to put on a show for the people.
