Two former world champions ?Marvelous? Marvin Sonsona and John Riel ?Quadro Alas? Casimero are set to leave for the US on Friday, February 6 to continue their training. Trainer, Feleciano ?Jun? Agrabio is flying with them to assist in their training until fight day.

The team will take PAL flight for Los Angeles on their way to Las Vegas where they will start their training.

International Promoter, Sampson Lewkowicz who handles Sonsona is making sure that he is well-prepared for this fight by hiring well-known physical trainer, Angel Heredia, who will handle personally the physical development of Marvin Sonsona and to make sure that he is ready and fit for his scheduled fight. From the Las Vegas training camp, they will proceed to Big Bear for the continuation of their training until the fight day.

Sonsona, a southpaw with a record of 19-1-1 with 15 knockouts is currently the North American Boxing Federation (NABF) Featherweight Champion and WBO International Featherweight champion, a title he won against Akifumi Shimoda and earned him the number 2 slot on the top 10 knockout of the year candidate for 2014. Meanwhile Casimero an orthodox boxer with a record of 21-2-0 with 13 knockouts is currently the mandatory challenger for the IBF flyweight title after he knocked out in the second round Armando Santos of Mexico in elimination fight last Dec. 13, 2014. While waiting for the results of the IBF Champ Amnat Rueroeng of Thailand defending his title against Zou Shiming of China, International promoter Sampson Lewkowicz will try to secure a suitable opponent for Casimero in the same card slated for Sonsona which will be announced later. -PR
