Fight fans will have a chance to witness undefeated pound for pound No.1 Roman ?Chocolatito? Gonzalez defend his title against two division champion Brian Viloria on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. over TV 5.
In order to size up the possibilities, Viva Sports presents a one hour special as a prelude to the much-awaited showdown at New York?s famed Madison Square Garden on the top-rating weekly boxing show ?The Main Event? on Pinoy Box Office (PBO) over Sky C able, nationwide at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday with a replay on Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
Boxing fans can see a compilation of the knockouts of Gonzalez, a relentless fighting machine and also see a collection of Viloria?s biggest wins in a lead up to the biggest fight of his career on the undercard of the middleweight unification bout between Kazakhstan?s Gennady Golovkin and Canada?s hard-hitting David Lemieux who, like Golovkin, is a heavy hitter.
The special will also feature Viloria in training under the assistant of Freddie Roach, Marvin Somodio at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles and also provide a glimpse of Gonzalez shadow boxing.
There are indications that ?Chocolatito? who plans to move up to super flyweight after the Viloria fight is having problems making the 112 limit and has been training in a thermal suit which fighters use to reduce weight while a sharply focused Viloria is ripped and ready with trainer Somodio expressing confidence that Brian could defeat ?Chocolatito? and stun the boxing world.
