Win or lose at the World Cup, Gerry Penalosa plans to hang them all for good after August 11.

Penalosa, who is currently training heavily for his co-main event appearance at the Philippines versus Mexico World Cup of Boxing, said that indeed, this will be his last fight. And he wants to leave the game in a blaze of glory.

Penalosa intimated that after this fight, win or loss, he will step away and concentrate on his growing kids and some business he has put up with his wife Goodie.

The former WBC superfly champion also hinted at becoming a boxing trainer, and a small-time promoter of fights in Manila and Cebu.
