Veteran Pat Russell of California has been appointed to call the shots for the August 11 WBO bantamweight showdown between Jhonny Gonzalez and Gerry Penalosa.
Judges for the fight are Steve Morrow (California), Ralph McKnight (California) and CJ Ross (Nevada).
The 12-round battle is the co-main event of the World Cup at the Arco Arena in Sacramento featuring Filipino fighters against Mexican bangers.
