Reporting from Tokyo, Filipino Eriberto Gejon informed that there were no hitches at the official weigh-in as he easily made weight at 104.5 lbs while WBA minimumweight champin Yutaka Niida came in at 104.3 lbs.
"I'm ready. My conditioning has been great," Gejon told this writer a few minutes ago.
Gejon also confirmed that his manager Rex 'Wakee' Salud has safely landed in Tokyo, and will be at ringside for tomorrow's fight.
"He has just arrived with his companion," said Gejon.
Niida versus Gejon will be for 12 rounds at the famed Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
