CEBU CITY--Cebuano Eriberto 'Yukka' Gejon, ranked WBA no. 4, will take on undefeated knockout artist Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez on November 3 at the famed Korakuen Hall.

Described as a "smaller version of Alexis Arguello," the 20-year-old Gonzalez (14-0, 14 KO's) has recently signed up with influential Japanese promoter Akihiko Honda.

"Yes, I am fighting Gonzalez," confirmed Gejon (23-2-1, 14 KO's) today in an interview with this writer.

Gejon's manager Rex 'Wakee' Salud, an associate of superstar Manny Pacquiao, is expected to accompany his fighter for the Gonzalez showdown.

"All Latin-American boxing people praise the talent and bright future of the young Explosive Thin Man. Gonzalez already acquired the WBA Fedecentro light-fly and WBA Fedelatin minimum belts as well as the Nicaraguan national 108-pounde title," said Japan's boxing scholar Joe Koizumi in his report.

?We are happy to tie up with Mr. Honda, who handles both WBC feather champ Jorge Linares and WBA super-feather titlist Edwin Valero. We hope Roman will become the world champ under Teiken Promotions," said Silvio Conrado, who manages Gonzalez as quoted by Koizumi.
