RWS Stable's Rev 'Gentle Giant' Santillan is slated to defend his OPBF welter crown on February 16 against Japanese veteran Motoki Sasaki at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
If victorious, there are plans to pit Santillan against an Australian opponent a month later in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Santillan, the hard-punching fighter from Iloilo City but fighting out of Cebu's Rew 'Wakee' Salud Gym, holds a 24-3-1, 17 KO's record and will be making the initial defense of the OPBF title he had regained last July 14.
The 32-year-old Sasaki, a veteran of 36 fights, will be facing only his second Filipino opponent in Santillan, the first being Boy Ligas whom he outpointed eight years ago.
