The Araneta Center Grandparent's Day Open Non-Master Chess Tournament will be held on September 13,2026 at Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City.
The Open Non-Master Chess Champion will earn P4,000 and a trophy, second will receive P3,000 and a medal, third place will pocket P2,000 and a medal.
Fourth to sixth place will receive P1,000, P800 and P700 while seventh to tenth place will bring Home P500 each.
Category prizes await the top Female, Senior, Golden Boy, 12 years old and below, 11 years old and below, 10 years old and below, 9 years old and below, 8 years old and below and unrated.
Meanwhile, Grandmaster Rogelio "Joey" Antonio Jr., International Master Chito Garma, National Master and United States chess master Almario Marlon Quiroz Bernardino Jr. was invited to do a simultaneous chess exhibition game.
