Filipino ring idol Manny Pacquiao is returning to Manila tonight from Los Angeles.
His sudden departure from the US was reportedly due to his concern over his funds most of which are deposited in one of the largest banks in the Philippines.
www.insidesports.ph gathered that he was worried about the effects of the financial turmoil in the US that has sparked a worldwide crisis and wants to ensure that his hard-earned money is safe.
We were informed that once he is satisfied that his bank deposits are secure which should be by Tuesday he will return to Los Angeles to continue his training.
His charming wife Jinkee apparently believes there is no cause for concern because Philippine banks are well protected.
