Pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao's lawyer David Marroso has informed the Manila Standard that Judge Hicks has warned Floyd Mayweather Jr that "further failure" to appear at deposition "may invite severe sanctions" even as he ordered Mayweather to pay "monetary sanctions" his (Mayeather's) failure to appear at deposition.
Atty. Marroso said the Judge did not order default but gave Mayweather a stern warning.
The Pacquiao lawyer said the case "will now proceed as it should have done months ago." Marroso added "we will be seeking Mayweather's deposition in addition to other discovery."
