On December 21, 2014, ?Marvelous? Marvin Sonsona will be back to defend and unify his NABF Featherweight Title in Cebu City against the WBC Silver Featherweight Champion Rocky Juarez who will put his belt too on the line to fight Sonsona for the final WBC Featherweight elimination bout.
The clash of the two fighters who are both title holders will serve as the final elimination to determine who has the right to be the mandatory challenger to fight the current WBC Featherweight Champion, Johnny Gonzales who defended his title last week against Jorge Arce in Mexico. This fight of Sonsona is a very crucial one for him and bringing his fight here in Philippines will surely be a plus factor to motivate him in winning this championship fight.
The event venue in Cebu is being finalized and according to the reliable source the Cebu City Waterfront Hotel and Casino is being considered.
