Lausanne, Switzerland — Following the highly successful International Boxing Day celebrations in Kazakhstan, the IBA is pleased to launch the IBA ELITE Project.
The inaugural amateur event will take place alongside the IBA Congress this December. The President’s Cup will debut as the first tournament in this series, featuring a high-level elite men's invitational championship.
With this initiative, our organization strengthens its presence in amateur boxing and completes the comprehensive IBA ecosystem.
The IBA ELITE project introduces a fresh vision for our National Federations. It will provide a clear and structured pathway from amateur to professional boxing, keeping athletes within a unified ranking system and ensuring a visible progression for the future.
We will issue new updates regarding IBA ELITE on a weekly basis.
